    Kettlebell Torque Step Ups

A step up with a rotational element, building single-leg drive and trunk control in one combined movement.

    Why it matters for golf

Step ups build the single-leg drive golfers use to post into the lead side. Adding rotation makes the trunk control the turn while the leg works, pairing ground force with rotation the way the swing does.

    Coaching cues

    • Whole foot on the box. Drive through it.
    • Stand up with the top leg, not a push off the floor.
    • Keep the rotation controlled and the chest tall.
    • Step down slow. Own the lowering.

    Common faults

    • Bouncing off the bottom leg to cheat the rep.
    • Knee caving as you drive up.
    • Rotating from the lower back instead of the hips and trunk.
