lungebalance
Why it matters for golf
Single-leg strength is the base for weight shift and a stable lower body through the swing. Lunging under kettlebell load trains the hips and knees to accept and control force one side at a time.
Coaching cues
- Step with intent and land soft.
- Drop the back knee straight down, not forward.
- Keep the chest tall and the trunk braced.
- Drive through the front foot to stand.
Common faults
- Front knee caving inward.
- Torso pitching forward as the bell pulls you down.
