Kettlebell Double Deadlift
A deadlift with two kettlebells, loading the hinge heavier to build the posterior chain strength behind ground force.
hinge
Why it matters for golf
The deadlift is the base hinge pattern, and the swing borrows it directly. Heavier two-bell loading builds the glute, hamstring, and back strength that lets a golfer push harder into the ground without losing posture.
Coaching cues
- Hips back, chest proud, flat back.
- Grip the floor with the feet before you pull.
- Push the floor away. Stand up in one piece.
- Finish tall. Glutes on, ribs down.
Common faults
- Back rounding as the bells leave the floor.
- Squatting the pull instead of hinging.
- Hyperextending the lower back at the top.
