Why it matters for golf
Golf asks the body to rotate well in many positions, not just one. Flowing between rotational movements builds turn, separation, and control under load without stopping to reset. It is rotation trained as a skill, rep after rep.
Coaching cues
- Rotate from the hips and mid back.
- Stay tall. Don't slump into the turns.
- Own each position before the next move.
- Smooth transitions beat fast ones.
Common faults
- Arms driving the rotation while the hips stall.
- Posture breaking down as the sequence goes on.
