    Kettlebell Global Rotations

Kettlebell rotation work through large ranges, training the hips and trunk to turn together under load.

    Why it matters for golf

The golf swing is a rotational act. Moving a bell through big rotational ranges teaches the hips and trunk to turn together, then separate, while the brace holds. That is the raw material for coil and speed.

    Coaching cues

    • Turn from the hips and mid back, not the lower back.
    • Stay tall through the turn. Don't slump into it.
    • The bell follows the body, not the other way around.
    • Keep the range only as big as you can control.

    Common faults

    • Arms swinging the bell while the hips stay still.
    • Losing posture as the range gets bigger.
