Band
Band Split Stance Row
Split stance band row that builds the upper back while the staggered base resists the pull of rotation.
pull
Why it matters for golf
Rows build the lats and mid back that control the club. Doing them from a split stance forces the trunk to resist twisting with every pull, the same stability the downswing asks for while the arms deliver.
Coaching cues
- Split stance, band anchored in front.
- Row to the ribs, elbows tracking back.
- Keep the hips and shoulders square.
- Pause at the squeeze, control the return.
Common faults
- Torso rotating with each pull.
- Shrugging instead of driving the elbows back.
