Band CS Archer
Archer-style band pull, one arm holds long while the other draws back, building single-arm pulling strength with upper-back turn.
pull
Why it matters for golf
The draw pattern pairs a strong pull with upper-back rotation, the same blend the backswing asks for. Each arm does its own job, so the golfer builds single-side control instead of letting the strong side carry both.
Coaching cues
- Hold one arm long toward the anchor.
- Draw the other hand back like a bowstring, elbow leading.
- Let the chest rotate with the pull, hips steady.
- Slow return, keep tension the whole way.
Common faults
- Both shoulders shrugging as the band loads.
- Hips spinning with the pull instead of holding.
