Why it matters for golf
The reverse fly strengthens the rear delts and upper back that keep posture from collapsing forward. The split stance narrows the base, so the trunk stabilizes while the arms work, a two-for-one golfers need.
Coaching cues
- Staggered stance, slight hinge, spine long.
- Sweep wide with a slight elbow bend.
- Squeeze the shoulder blades at the end.
