Band Pallof Leg Extensions
Pallof hold with legs extending, forcing the core to resist rotation while the lower body moves.
rotationcore
Why it matters for golf
Extending a leg while holding the band steady makes the core stabilize against two demands at once. That trunk stiffness under lower-body movement is what keeps the swing sequenced instead of sloppy.
Coaching cues
- Set the anti-rotation hold first, then move the legs.
- Extend slow, keep the pelvis dead level.
- Ribs stacked over the pelvis, breathe through the brace.
- Smaller range done clean beats big range done loose.
Common faults
- Pelvis rocking as the leg extends.
- Low back arching off position.
