Band Front Raise
Band front raise that strengthens the shoulders through the elevation the arms use in the swing.
push
Why it matters for golf
The arms climb and descend on every swing, and the shoulders manage that arc under speed. The front raise builds strength through arm elevation so club structure holds up at the top and the shoulders stay durable.
Coaching cues
- Stand on the band, arms long.
- Raise to about shoulder height, lead with the knuckles.
- Lower slow, keep tension the whole rep.
- No rocking or leaning back to lift.
Common faults
- Momentum swinging the band up.
- Shoulders shrugging toward the ears.
