Band
Band Deadlift To Row
Hinge into a row in one flow, building the posterior chain and upper back that hold golf posture under load.
hingepull
Why it matters for golf
This combination trains the hips to hinge and the upper back to pull without losing spine position. That is the posture-and-power base of the swing in one movement, hips loading while the back holds shape.
Coaching cues
- Push the hips back and let the band tension build.
- Stand through the hips, then row to the ribs.
- Back stays flat the whole way.
- One smooth rhythm, no rushing the row.
Common faults
- Rounding the back at the bottom of the hinge.
- Starting the row before the hips finish.
