Band CS Lat Pull Down
Band lat pull-down variation that builds the lats, the engine that links the arms to the trunk in the downswing.
pull
Why it matters for golf
The lats tie the arms to the torso and help deliver trunk rotation into the club. Building them adds pulling strength and keeps the arms connected through the downswing instead of separating from the body.
Coaching cues
- Arms long overhead, band anchored high.
- Pull the elbows down toward the ribs.
- Keep the chest tall, no crunching forward.
- Control the band back to the top.
Common faults
- Pulling with the hands while the elbows drift forward.
- Leaning back to finish the rep.
