Wall Rotation
Rotations using a wall as a target and reference, building a fuller, more honest trunk turn.
mobilityrotation
Why it matters for golf
The wall gives instant feedback on how far the trunk actually turns. Working rotation against that reference builds honest thoracic range instead of a swaying imitation. More real trunk rotation feeds directly into backswing length.
Coaching cues
- Use the wall as your reference on every rep.
- Rotate slow and reach with control.
- Keep the hips steady and exhale as you turn.
- Pause a beat at end range.
Common faults
- Swaying or stepping to reach the wall.
- Rotating from the lower back only.
- Skipping the pause at end range.
