Triceps In Line
Overhead triceps and lat stretch that frees the arm to stay long at the top of the swing.

Why it matters for golf
The long head of the triceps and the lat share territory, and tightness there blocks overhead arm position. Opening this line lets the arms reach the top of the backswing without the spine arching to compensate. It keeps the swing arc long and the elbows quiet.
Coaching cues
- Reach the arm overhead and let the hand drop down the back.
- Ease into the stretch on the exhale.
- Keep the ribs down. No arching.
- Hold for several slow breaths per side.
Common faults
- Flaring the ribs to fake range.
- Cranking on the elbow.
- Holding the breath.
