    Med Ball

    Med Ball Standing Chest Press

Explosive standing med ball chest press, training the golfer to push force from the ground through the trunk and arms.

    pushpower

    Why it matters for golf

Pressing from standing forces the legs and trunk to brace while the arms produce force. That ground-to-hands connection is the same chain that delivers the club. It builds pushing power without leaving an athletic stance.

    Coaching cues

    • Root the feet before you press.
    • Brace the trunk, then drive the ball away hard.
    • Finish with full arm extension.
    • Reset stance and posture each rep.

    Common faults

    • Leaning back to launch the ball.
    • Pressing before the trunk is braced.
    • Feet drifting between reps.
