    Med Ball

Med Ball Dynamic Step To Press

Step into an explosive med ball chest press, linking lower body momentum to upper body power like the downswing does.

    powerpush

    Why it matters for golf

Power in the swing flows from the ground up. Stepping into the press forces the golfer to sequence legs first, then trunk, then arms. That is the same kinetic order that produces clubhead speed.

    Coaching cues

    • Step, plant, then press in one flow.
    • Drive the ball from the chest, arms finish last.
    • Keep the trunk tall through the release.
    • No pause between the step and the press.

    Common faults

    • Pressing with arms only, no leg drive.
    • Leaning back as the ball leaves.
    • Short, tentative step that kills momentum.
