Med Ball Lateral Flow
Continuous lateral med ball work linking side-to-side weight shift with rotation, mirroring the swing's pressure flow.
powerrotation
Why it matters for golf
The swing shifts pressure to the trail side, back to the lead side, then turns. Flowing laterally with the ball trains that rhythm so the shift and the turn blend instead of fighting each other. Smooth lateral flow shows up as better tempo and sequencing.
Coaching cues
- Move side to side with rhythm, not rush.
- Let the hips shift first, then rotate.
- Stay level. No bouncing up and down.
- Keep the reps continuous and smooth.
Common faults
- Swaying past the feet instead of shifting into them.
- Rotating before the weight arrives.
- Losing posture as speed builds.
