Med Ball Split Stance Wall Slam
Rotational wall slam from a split stance, training trunk speed and hip-shoulder separation over a stable lower body.
powerrotation
Why it matters for golf
The split stance quiets the lower body so the trunk has to do the rotating. Slamming into the wall from that base trains separation and rotational speed with less lower body cheat. It maps directly to producing torso speed over a stable base.
Coaching cues
- Set the split stance and keep it planted.
- Turn the chest away, then slam hard into the wall.
- Let the hips resist. The torso does the work.
- Keep posture tall rep to rep.
Common faults
- Feet spinning out of the stance.
- All arms, no trunk turn.
- Posture collapsing as effort rises.
