Med Ball RDL To CB Slam

Hinge into an RDL, then finish with a med ball slam, tying posterior chain loading to an explosive release.

    hingepower

    Why it matters for golf

Golf posture is a hinge, and the posterior chain powers it. Pairing an RDL with a slam teaches the golfer to load the hips first and release that energy through the trunk. That is the load-then-fire pattern of a good downswing.

    Coaching cues

    • Hinge from the hips. Flat back, soft knees.
    • Feel the hamstrings load before you move to the slam.
    • Drive the hips through, then slam with intent.
    • Reset your setup between reps.

    Common faults

    • Rounding the back in the hinge.
    • Squatting instead of hinging.
    • Slamming with the arms before the hips fire.
