Toe Taps
Lying toe taps with the legs raised. Low back friendly core work that trains pelvis control.
core
Why it matters for golf
Lowering the toes toward the floor while the back stays flat teaches the abs to control the pelvis under moving legs. That pelvic control carries over to posture in the swing and protects the low back.
Coaching cues
- Low back pressed into the floor.
- Legs up, tap one foot down at a time.
- Move slow, exhale on the tap.
- Stop the range where the back starts to arch.
Common faults
- Low back peeling off the floor.
- Rushing the taps with momentum.
