    Reverse Nordics

Kneeling backward lean for the quads. Eccentric quad strength and length for knee health and a stable lower body.

    mobility

    Why it matters for golf

Reverse Nordics load the quads eccentrically through a long range, building knee durability and front of thigh mobility. For golfers that means knees that tolerate load and hips that can extend without the thighs fighting back.

    Coaching cues

    • Tall kneeling, hips fully extended.
    • Lean back in one line from knees to head.
    • Go only as far as you can control.
    • Pull back up with the quads.

    Common faults

    • Breaking at the hips and sitting toward the heels.
    • Overarching the low back on the way down.
