    Why it matters for golf

Speed is only useful if posture survives it. This drill asks golfers to rotate hard while holding address posture, training the trunk to turn fast without standing up or swaying. It bridges gym rotation work and the actual swing.

    Coaching cues

    • Set your golf posture and keep it.
    • Rotate fast in both directions as prescribed.
    • Hips and chest turn, spine angle stays.
    • Speed with control, not just speed.

    Common faults

    • Standing up out of posture as speed rises.
    • Swaying side to side instead of rotating.
<!-- VERIFY against video: Assumed fast rotations held in golf posture; confirm arm position and whether a club or band is involved. -->
