Lying Leg Raise
Lying leg raises for the lower abs and hip flexors. Builds the pelvis control that holds posture in the swing.

Why it matters for golf
The lower abs keep the pelvis under control, and pelvis control is posture control. Leg raises strengthen that link, helping golfers avoid early extension and low back irritation.
Coaching cues
- Press the low back into the floor.
- Legs long, lift with control.
- Lower slow and stop before the back arches.
- Exhale on the way down.
Common faults
- Low back arching off the floor as the legs lower.
- Swinging the legs for momentum.
