    Lat Bounds

Lateral bounds from leg to leg. Trains side to side power and single leg landings, key for pressure shift.

    Why it matters for golf

The swing shifts pressure laterally before it turns. Lateral bounds train the push off one leg and the stable catch on the other, the same load and transfer pattern as the transition. Sticking each landing builds hip stability.

    Coaching cues

    • Push sideways off the outside leg.
    • Land on one leg and stick it.
    • Hips back, knee over the foot.
    • Stabilize before the next bound.

    Common faults

    • Dribbling into small hops instead of one clean landing.
    • Knee caving in on the catch.
