A loaded carry that switches sides, training grip, trunk stiffness, and posture under a shifting load.

Why it matters for golf
Carries build grip strength and the trunk stiffness that lets ground force reach the club instead of leaking out mid-swing. Switching sides forces the core to re-brace against a new load, the same posture control the swing demands as forces change.
Coaching cues
- Stand tall, ribs down, shoulders level.
- Walk with smooth, controlled steps.
- Switch sides without leaning or twisting.
- Grip the handle hard.
Common faults
- Leaning toward or away from the load.
- Letting the loaded shoulder shrug up to the ear.
- Rushing the switch and losing posture.
