About
O.J. Amaya is a Class A PGA Professional golf instructor who has coached golf in the San Diego area since 1992, with a particular expertise in teaching young children ages 6–12. He is a US Kids Golf Top 50 Master Kids Coach, a Golfing Machine Authorized Instructor, and a Master Clubfitter for Henry-Griffitts, Inc. In 2022, he was honored as the PGA Southern California Section, San Diego Chapter Teacher & Coach of the Year. He operates a Junior Golf Academy at Chula Vista Golf Course and has fielded a PGA Jr League Golf team since the program's inception in 2012.
