O.J. Amaya is a Class A PGA Professional golf instructor based at Chula Vista Golf Course in the San Diego area, with over 30 years of teaching experience since 1992. He specializes in junior golf instruction for ages 6–12, running a Junior Golf Academy using the US Kids Golf Player Pathway framework. O.J. holds numerous certifications including US Kids Golf Top 50 Master Kids Coach, TPI Certified Level 1, and is a Golfing Machine Authorized Instructor and Master Clubfitter for Henry-Griffitts, Inc. In 2022, he was named PGA Southern California Section, San Diego Chapter Teacher/Coach of the Year.
