The Athlete's Edge is a hands-on bodywork and sports therapy practice based in San Mateo, California, founded and operated by Anthony Gilbert since 1984. The facility specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic injuries, performance care, and relief from work- and posture-related conditions. Services include Active Release Techniques (ART), Sports Massage, and Deep Tissue Bodywork, with individualized treatment plans incorporating stretching, flexibility, and injury prevention. Anthony Gilbert is one of only four certified ART instructors in the Bay Area and also presents injury prevention workshops to corporations, athletic clubs, and school athletic teams.
