Founded in 1860, The Olympic Club is a private athletic and golf club in San Francisco, California, recognized as one of the oldest amateur athletic clubs in the world. The club features three world-renowned golf courses — the Lake, Ocean, and Cliffs Courses — at its Lakeside property, which have hosted multiple U.S. Opens and are scheduled to host the 2028 PGA Championship and 2033 Ryder Cup. Its two clubhouses offer extensive athletic facilities including fitness centers, pools, courts, dining, hotel rooms, and event spaces. Membership is open to individuals eight years of age and older, with over 11,000 current members.
